FUN FUN FUN

So it's been a few days since I last left a blog. I'm pretty sure you all know what I've been up to since I've called a few times. But just to recap on some stuff. I-night was on Saturday and Talia and I decided to go. It was 5 dollars to get in and then we could do all sorts of fun activities like sumo wrestling, rock-climbing, dunk tank, mechanical bull riding, and lots of other stuff. There was also pizza and ice cream! There was a comedy show and it ended up being like the 70s dating game. I was lucky enough to be one of the contestants... and I WON!!!! He hasn't called yet, so we'll see. Even if he doesn't I don't think i would be too crushed. Then monday i went on my first actual date with this really nice guy named Jon. He got back from his mission 6 months ago from serving in Santiago Chile. He's probably one of the sweetest guys i know! He took me on a picnic and made some delicious pasta, and we also had fruit and kool-aid :) Then we went to Porter Park here in Rexburg and did some slacklining! If you don't know what that is i suggest you look it up on youtube because it's pretty cool! It was a pretty fun date and we're just gettin to know each other. I started work today and needless to say, it wasn't very fun. I don't know i just can't sit on my butt for 4 hours staring at a computer screen!! And tomorrow I'm working double shifts!! AHHH!! I'm going to call little ceasers tomorrow to check up on their hiring status... the sign was down off their door today so who knows!! I think i'm just gonna end up going everywhere and anywhere for a job... maybe a clothing store? I don't know, something!!!!! But anyways, I went to devotional today and President Clark spoke, it was good but the hart auditorium was PACKED!! Talia and I had to split up and take different seats cuz there were only random seats open all over the place! It was exciting though! I've decided that I'm going to go to the gym monday, wednesday, and friday of everyweek. I need to get in shape!!! But anyways that's pretty much all that's been going on so far.. BONFIRE!!!

Today was a very eventful day! Wednesday I decided I was extremely bored so I made the decision to have a bonfire. I texted some people and told them what was going on and they seemed to be for it! So my other roommate Kristen told me that we needed to get up bright and early Thursday morning to go to different stores and see if we could have some wood pallets. We first went to McDonalds for breakfast because Wal-Mart doesn't open till 7. Yes we got up at 6:30!! So once we had breakfast we asked if we could have their pallets, turns out they receive credit or something like that for returning the pallets with the trucks. So, we then went to Albertsons and they said that they keep their pallets, so they gave up two cardboard boxes instead. (Which was somewhat helpful?) We didn't really know where else to go... so we were driving by Dollar Tree when talia saw in the back by the dumpsters WOODEN PALLETS!! So we went and took them since they were going to be thrown out anyways.. and luckily there was a HUGE dumpster full of cardboard boxes!! So we managed to squeeze 5 pallets into the back of Kristens car. We were pretty excited. Once we got home we decided we were tired and went back to bed until 11 a.m. We woke up and bummed around while a few other girls moved in. It's getting kinda crazy around here but i don't mind one bit!!! We went on campus later and checked out the new bookstore... IT"S GINORMOUS!!!!!! Then we went to Idaho Falls cuz Kristen had to return some clothes. I finally bought a pair of cheap sunglasses!! ANd then realized I can't buy anything until after the 26th because that's when I get my first paycheck! So speakin of jobs, I had trianing today again and actually got to call people and ask surveys! I was extremely nervous not going to lie... but at the same time it's wayy exciting and fun! Maybe that's just because Talia and I giggled/laughed the whole time. But we officially start on Saturday so we'll see how that goes. I'm really happy that I"ll be makin some money, but i think i need to start looking for a second job as well. I will probably do a follow-up on the yogurt place since almost everyone is moved in now. Campus was soooo busy today, but it made me wayyy excited!!! Anyways, after work we went to R mountain for a bonfire!! Kristen got her brother's huge truck so we could haul the wood and everyone there. My friend Jon invited a lot of ppl too so we had about 20 or more people going to this bonfire! It was in a cool little secluded spot. I think it was a pretty good success for planning it on the spot. I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty proud of myself and Talia for doing this. People really seemed to enjoy it and we're now known as the "party animals" because we actually plan and want to do stuff! So i'm excited :) p.s. We've been having a lot of strangers come to out door and we have met like 8 new people in 2 days!! It's crazy but fun and now everyone knows that the Abbington west house is the place to be!! So that was my day and a half and now i'm off to bed! Mom and dad, Talia has pictures of our adventures on her page. So i suggest looking there for details!! Hello! So last night I had ROC training from 6-8:30 p.m. In the beginning it was SO boring because we just sat in a dark room and watched a slide-show for a good hour. Not going to lie, I had to try really hard to keep my eyes open. But after we did that we went out on the floor to practice saying the surveys to each other. It wasn't too bad, but I just hope I get it down so i'm not stuttering to everyone on the phone. But Talia and I had a fun time with that. I think i'll enjoy working there just cuz it's easy money and an easy job with 4-hour shifts everyday. I'm excited to start earning some money!!! WOO HOO!!! ZOO!!!

Yesterday 12 of us went to the Idaho Falls zoo!!! It was pretty fun, except for the fact it was raining and hailing/snowing. There also wasn't as many animals as the Omaha zoo either, but we still had lots of fun! Talia and I drove down to Idaho Falls with three RM's! haha yes mom, rm's. No they're way cool and chill, and freakin hilarious! They all served Spanish speaking missions and they're all fresh off the mish so that's all they talk about! haha. After the zoo we went out to eat at this 50's style restaurant and it was super cool! It had really good food too! Then we drove home and two of the guys we rode back with went and got their acoustic guitars and came over and played and sang for us. They are so good! And talia and I were pretty much drooling the whole time. Haha. Then after that we went to their house and watched Edward Scissorhands on their projector screen! it was way cool! But yeah that was my day! Good day! Now today I have my job training at the ROC from 6-9 p.m. I hope it goes well! :)
